www.indymedia.org

is the home of the independent media center, which has hundreds of locations worldwide. They often post video to the net, although their budget is small. Maybe a partnership could be made so that all of their videos could be archived?

just a thought.

Indymedia is starting to upload a full res version of its monthly TV series "Indymedia Newsreal". July has been uploaded but not approved, see here. Newsreal airs on the DISH Satellite network on Freespeech TV (ch 9415), on public access TV stations and is screened live in around 40 cities every month. Its a news magazine format, mainly on progressive activist events. For more info see here.

Unfortunately this item cannot go through the system - we're working to resolve it, but the problem is that it is in a format that our thumbnail maker doesn't support.
